AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCT LIABILITY

Attorneys at Clark, Thomas & Winters have a long history of representing clients in automotive product liability litigation. Litigators in this practice group have defended automobile manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and suppliers in a variety of automotive product defect cases throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, as well as other states across the country, in both state and federal courts. Their comprehensive practice has focused on defending and litigating cases involving a variety of defect claims, including those relating to air bags, seat belts, handling/stability, fuel systems, seat backs, transmissions, door latches, glazing, structures, and other automotive components. Their practice also includes defending tire manufacturers, automotive component suppliers, recreational vehicle manufacturers, and transportation/trucking manufacturers.

Members of this section have acted as both national and regional counsel for clients in selected cases. They have been retained to develop national testifying and consulting experts in a variety of areas in automotive product cases. In addition to a comprehensive trial practice, attorneys also handle appeals in both federal and state appellate courts and represent clients before administrative agencies. The section maintains a core group composed of senior partners, junior partners, senior associates and associates supported by both paralegals and medically trained legal assistants.
